Canada Day Walkway on Waterfront

For the first time, the Exchange District BIZ is putting on a Canada Day event! We’ve partnered with The Forks to pop up all along Waterfront Drive with music, activities, tours, and more. Don’t miss out on this free afternoon event on July 1 from 12-4pm taking place from Stephen Juba Park all the way down to the boardwalk by The Forks!

Sport for Life Centre Pop Up in Stephen Juba Park

Between 12-4pm, everyone is invited to spin for a chance to win free visits to the Sport for Life Centre, involving random mini exercises and fun with trainers!

Historic Walking Tours

At 12 and 2pm we’ll be offering free, exclusive historical walking tours of the Exchange District, especially for Canada Day! All tours begin at the Stephen Juba Park Tent. While you can simply walk up on the day to enjoy them, we recommend clicking here to register so as not to not miss out!

On the Boardwalk

The Art City team is setting up shop to get you creative about what Canada means to you! Head over to the boardwalk by Provencher to enjoy flag making and more.

On the Sidewalk

Throughout the day, the Travelling Sign Painters will be going to town on the sidewalk all along Waterfront Drive! Whether you’re watching them work or drawing alongside them, it will be a great time.

Food and beverage carts + portable washrooms will be available on site. All events are free and open to the public.
