
TD WINNIPEG INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL
The world-renowned TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival is not to be missed. Put on by Jazz Winnipeg, this ten-day festival is full of outstanding music in packed theatres throughout downtown Winnipeg and the Exchange District. All activities start off with the spectacular FREE Opening Weekend at the Cube Stage in Old Market Square. Experience some of the best jazz, blues and urban artists from around the world at this annual event.

WINNIPEG FRINGE THEATRE FESTIVAL
Currently ranked as the second-largest event of its kind in North America, the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival welcomes over 150 companies from all over the world to present exciting independent theatre to appreciative audiences. Visit Old Market Square during the Fringe Festival for free live programming throughout the festival.

CULTURE DAYS MANITOBA/NUIT BLANCHE
Culture Days is a three day-long annual collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. Culture Days Manitoba assists with the coordination of free public activities that take place over the last weekend of September each year.
Culture Days culminates in the city with Nuit Blanche – an all-night contemporary art event that attracts thousands of people to downtown Winnipeg, the Exchange District and St. Boniface. For one night a year, museums, galleries, theatres and other local spots stay open late with a unique array of exhibitions, art installations and performances.

ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN FILM FESTIVAL
The Architecture+Design Film Festival (A+DFF) Winnipeg presents critically acclaimed films focusing on the importance of architecture and design in everyday life. The films cover a range of design-oriented topics from architecture, landscape and urban design to graphics and product design. Each year the films are from a wide range of countries and include premieres or rarely screened offerings. The festival is presented by the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation, Urban Idea and Cinematheque.

FREEZE FRAME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Two locations, three theatres, 8 days, over 25 films, 150 hours of workshops and the chance to mingle with world-class featured filmmakers.

NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s (WSO) New Music Festival is truly an epic undertaking with more than 50 pieces being performed in just seven days. Since 1992, the Festival has presented 680 works by 266 composers; half of which are Canadian and local performers.

SEND + RECEIVE FESTIVAL
send + receive is an international festival that advances the discipline of sound art, and is one of the few annual media arts festivals in North America focusing exclusively on sound-based work.

SOCA REGGAE FESTIVAL
The Winnipeg Soca Reggae Music Festival is a celebration of Soca Reggae, Calypso and revelry mixed together with Caribbean flavours. This multi-cultural event merges Caribbean and Canadian culture into a colourful party celebration at the Cube in Old Market Square on the second weekend of July.

THIN AIR: WINNIPEG INTERNATIONAL WRITERS FESTIVAL
In September each year, Winnipeg welcomes writers from Canada and around the world for a week of readings, lectures, interviews, conversations, book launches, and other events. This week of literary feasting—which reaches out into the rural areas of the province as well—is THIN AIR, the Winnipeg International Writers Festival.
