Free Historic Walking Tours

Walk the cobblestone streets and experience the colourful history of the Exchange District. Explore Winnipeg’s riveting political history – from its leadership in the anti-fascism movement, to Cora Hind the first female journalist in Western Canada. Uncover the scandals of Winnipeg’s history, from our first Mayors 2nd life to the ill fated “Gingerbread” City Hall. This hour long walking tour of the Exchange will cover the most thrilling details of Winnipeg’s lurid past, and show you a side of the city you’ve never seen before.

Tours will be 60 minutes in length with a maximum of 10 guests and all Public Health Guidelines must be followed.

Tour time slots: 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm

Online registration is required for all guests! Registration will open Friday, September 3rd at noon at http://www.doorsopenwinnipeg.ca/event/exchange-district-biz-historic-guided-walking-tours/
