For more than 10 years MAWA’s (Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art) Artists Mothers group have given artists, who are also mothers, a place to connect, create and (sometimes) vent.
We’ll talk with members Sandra Brown and Loricia Pacholko about artmaking and mothering, and how combining these two creative realms can be sometimes exhausting, sometimes energizing and always full of unexpected results.
