Fresh off their 2022 world tour, hometown heroes the Crash Test Dummies perform favourites from their entire catalogue for two nights with your WSO.
It’s hard to believe, but it’s been more than 30 years since the Crash Test Dummies recorded their debut album, The Ghosts That Haunt Me (1991), which earned them their first big hit, “Superman’s Song,” and the JUNO Award for Group of the Year (1992).
They would go on to enjoy international fame with their sophomore album, God Shuffled His Feet (1993) and the lead single “Mmm Mmm Mmm.” The album also garnered three Grammy Award nominations (1995) for Best New Artist, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group (“Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm”) and Best Alternative Music Performance (“God Shuffled His Feet”).
Original members Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts and Mitch Dorge join the WSO for two nights of all your favourite Crash Test Dummies songs with a symphonic twist.
“Our last WSO show got the band back together and touring again,” says lead singer/songwriter Brad Roberts. “We’ve just got back from Europe and America and are coming full circle. This is a really nice way to end our year.”
Live at the WSO is presented by Manitoba Liquor Marts
