WSO assistant conductor Naomi Woo leads the WSO in a very special concert celebrating the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar and solar Chinese calendar – also referred to as the Spring Festival. We’re welcoming the Year of the Rabbit with a spectacular evening of singing, dancing, music and more with songs Chinese audiences will instantly recognize. Including Spring Festival Overture, Flower Drum Song, Butterfly Lover’s Violin Concerto and Unforgettable Night narrated by Chinese superstar, Canadian comedian and television personality Dashan.
