As a part of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, the Exchange District BIZ will be offering History of the Exchange walking tours on July 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26 + 27.
Tours will depart daily from Bijou Park (492 Main Street) at 12PM, 2PM & 4PM. Tours will not run on Sundays.
Walk up to the Exchange District BIZ tent at Bijou Park prior to these times to reserve your spot. Tours will leave promptly on time.
Tours will be 30 mins long, for a reduced fee of $5 per person.
History of the Exchange
Walk the cobblestone streets and experience the vibrant, bustling history of the Exchange District. Learn about Newspaper Row and turn-of-the-century banks. Get to know the famous and unsung characters who made Winnipeg the city it is today, with a focus on the many theatre buildings in the Exchange for Fringe Festival!
